About Us... Stephanie and Traci started decorating for friends back in 1996. It soon grew into a real decorating business called "By The Room Decorators". We had so much fun putting rooms together that we chose to open a boutique so we could decorate full time. In May of 2002, The Address was born on Myers St. in Downtown Oroville, CA. In September of 2005, we welcomed another partner, Jackie into the fold. After 7 years in Oroville, we were ready to move the business to our current, fabulous location on the corner of 3rd & Main in Downtown Chico. We opened here on June 18th, 2009.

We are not your typical boutique. We pride ourselves on displaying our products in unique, attractive ways. You won't find shelves of items that you have to "imagine" what to do with them. Every day someone (or several) tells us how much they love how we put it all together and remark that our prices are quite reasonable! We love to surprise customers with an expensive look at an affordable price. Enjoy shopping our different style sections where you can put a whole room together, add that final touch, or find the perfect gift. We are always updating and changing to offer you the ultimate shopping experience. And remember, at The Address it only looks expensive!
